About the Author

Ever since I was a kid, I always dreamed of writing my very own book. I would write fan-fiction as a teenager for my favourite video games and fantasy series. Finally, I can say that I have achieved this dream!

I grew up in Sydney, Australia in a relatively typical middle-class family, with two loving parents and a younger sister. I graduated Macquarie University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Palaeobiology. I have had a number of challenges and obstacles in my life to overcome, such as being on the autism spectrum, being LGBT, non-binary, and living with mental health issues. All of these factors have shaped how I write, who I write, and why I write.

I love writing books that I would love to read. Some big inspirations to me are Joe Abercrombie, George RR Martin, and Brandon Sanderson in particular, but I am also fascinated with the universes created in fantasy video games such as Dragon Age and The Witcher. I also love to blend horror into my writing to add some thrills and unique flavours to my stories.
